Well,
Here is anothe fast memory man scam. For 20 euros we received one damaged DDR memory module (after two weeks wait for ‘local shipping’ that was not at all -Australia.

The damage was visible – no gold plating several of the tines of the module. Filled out the RMA and sent confirmed delivery to the USA RMA center.

Several weeks later no response, several months just a form letter, then final – a n email reading – we have sent it out let us know in a couple weeks if you have not received it.

just one problem – the date: SEPT 29, 2008

THE BASTARDS KNEW THEY WERE DUMPING THEIR OBLIGATIONS ON EBAY AND PAYPAL…..

ITS EASY AS CLOSING YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT!

paypal said well their account is now closed >>>>>too bad (sucker)

FOR ALL OF THE PEOPLE DEFENDING FFM – I hope that you continue to shop there ebuymart and then you too will learn something……

EBAY AND PAYPAL ARE THE TRUE SCAM ARTISTS THAT ENABLE THESE SCAMS!

I dealt with a feller with similar name on ebay and I’m quite pleased with his service, it was fast, and reliable, if i knew i could purchase the pc8500 ram off him again, i sure would!

fastmemoryman is a bandit and I speak from bitter experience, I received a dud memory module from fastmemoryman, I returned this but he just continually denied he received it, how convenient (for him) so that was that, I paid my money for a dud article plus return postage and was I left with nothing. I left fastmemoryman a negative feedback and in return ebay’s automated system left me a negative feedback in the blink of an eye! without question from ebay. I’m very reluctant to use ebay now whom do not deal with these bandits in any way which deters these bandits from continuing to act like bandits, ebay still gets business, fastmemoryman still works duds on people but again the unsuspecting littleman (no not fastmemoryman) has to eat shit without redress. My tip BEWARE OF EBAY SCAMS, do a fastmemoryman search or any other similar search to see if other people have had bad experiences with these sellers then think long and hard before any committment! it would easier and wiser this way than expecting ebay to come to your rescue after fastmemoryman has pulled another fast one.

Well, I got stuffed over by fastmemoryscam for $125, for a CPU that was not posted. I paid for the item the day before the seller was removed from ebay, had a bit of back and forth correspondence after DEMANDING to speak to a real person, not just auto-generated emails. Fastmemorysam admitted to not sending the item in one of these emails, so I opened a dispute with Paypal. Fastmemorycam then tried to tell Paypal that he had in fact sent the item, even going so far as to give them a link to the DHL courier website, but omitting the tracking number. I spoke to Paypal via phone and after seeing this, they put my dispute under review, which took two weeks, but today I received an email from Paypal and the money I thought I was going to lose was refunded to my Paypal account!! Thankyou Paypal and UP YOURS fastmemorySCAM!

(Follow up to my earlier post) The seller keeps sending me the stock emails, I have opened the dispute with PayPal and the seller agreed to refund me the full price of £16.50 if i first post the faulty item back to the US at my expense like the post above and to make sure it is trackable and supply tracking details and they will see whether it is faulty or not, the seller said he will send another one if it is faulty which i did not agree to do, i agreed on a refund, the dispute is now closed, I haven’t received my money back yet so in order for me to get my money back, i will contact my debit/credit card company and request a chargeback for free or at sellers expense not mine so a message to everyone: IF PAYPAL DO NOT REFUND YOU ANYTHING OR LESS TAHN THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, THEN REQUEST A CHARGEBACK FROM YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD COMPANY,
will let you know how it goes, rakesh k

Have a case with Paypal under dispute for a non-received CPU from this scammer. Advised me via email that he hadn’t sent the CPU, THEN had the gall to LIE to Paypal and say he HAD sent it, even going so far as to provide a link to DHL shipping, but failed to include a tracking number!! Waiting on a reply from Paypal anytime….

After more than 5 years and 300,000 cheats these are no longer registered with eBay (last feedback was 25th July 2008). Good riddance and not a moment too soon. Still there under emartbuy though.

Well,
I also bought 2 RAM chips from FMM, but after one week and after seeing the responses here, I decide to make a complaint at PayPal. In the description I included the URL of this blog and it really paid off. I was given back the full amount of money (3 days after the complaint) that I initially paid. Very pleased right now : )
