Hi gang, all I can say is, toohlaus.org is your friend!

It's an essential tool for eBay buyers as you can enter a seller's username and it'll filter out all the negative and neutral feedback for you. This means you can sift through the negs and look for suspicious patterns and it's invaluable when dealing with someone like this, who has such a high feedback score that the scams don't show in his feedback percentage.

Toolhaus is totally free and I'm nothing to do with it, but started using it religiously (and eBay a lot less frequently) after fastmemoryman ripped me off in 2005. I wrote this 'review' of my experience on eBay, which a lot of people have found useful and have frequently contacted me for advice about how to deal with him (basically, get your PayPal claim in right away and let him deal with them. Don't listen to his crap, you will win your claim.)
http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Fastmemoryman-risky-business_W0QQugidZ10000000001964915

In order for ripped off buyers to continue finding the guide, I need to be able to update his usernames as he changes them. Fastmemoryman and Fastflashman are gone now, but emartbuy is still going. If anyone know of any new aliases, please let me know so I can update the review.

I think I've been duped by this fastmemoryman too. Won auction for 32gb fast compact flash card. Paid immediately via PayPal. I was told it would arrive within 10 days I month later I'm still waiting and I need it for my photography business. He keeps on coming up with excuses said initially item was sent from US now says he is sending replacement from UK - no tracking number previously. I just want my money refunded. Don't buy from this guy.

Looks like eBay/PayPal have eventually done something. I bought 2 x 1Gb sticks and a couple of days after eBay emailed to say auction is cancelled, try and recover your money. So I started a claim with PayPal and this automatically escalated into full claim, rather than just a dispute. Paid on credit card so should be ok.

Hope everyone gets their money back and this guy gets what he deserves

P.S. I didn't read all the comments but noticed one about the UK and US operations not being related. Emartbuy.co.uk looks exactly the same as emartbuy.com so it would appear they are related

FastMemoryMan's fraudulent auctions are happening right under the very eyes of Ebay.
Instead of intervening they actually PROTECT his scams.
This is ongoing for YEARS now, and no one seems to be able to put an end to it.

FastMemoryMan uses fraudulent addresses and fake postage labels to hide his true shipping addresses and whereabouts. All German deliveries are actually shipped from New Zealand, Brits receive their stuff from a fake German address, e.g. out of a mail distribution center in Niederaula, where many fake "mail" companies "run" their P.O. 'offices'. Google the town name for details!

I have (so far) failed to stop this obvious scam. Ebay ignores all evidence, does not pull auctions with false article and location statements. In the feedback section for FastMemoryMan they even let him outright lie about his shipping methods, while censoring and removing any critical comments that try to prove the opposite.
I will cancel my Ebay account now, as Ebay is clearly sitting in the boat with fraudsters rather than the customers of their auctions.

Interestingly enough not all of FastMemorman's computer parts are bad. But his business practice is: horrendous, non-refundable shipping (3x the value of many articles, eg $25 for two small memory sticks!), costly returns of all faulty or wrong items to the United States, delayed shipment to undermine the dispute time window of Ebay/PayPal.

STAY CLEAR OF FASTMEMORYMAN - AND OF EBAY, they obviously collaborate with this individual, while being ripped off by him at the same time: shipping costs of auctions are mere profit fot the seller, Ebay gets nothing!
